Media planning and buying

Traditional media never left. Radio still reaches 87 percent of US adults every week, and out-of-home just had a record year. WWC buys broadcast, radio, outdoor and print, and plans them with the digital side so each does the job it is best at.

Broadcast, radio, outdoor and print on one scheduleIllustration. A broadcast tower sends out its signal, traffic passes under a billboard with one car's radio on, and a newspaper sits below. A single schedule ties radio, billboards and search together, and a dashed line runs from the billboard to a phone where someone searches the name they just saw.Your name, hereon the drive in, every dayBroadcast TVRadioOutdoorPrintOne scheduleRadio, drive timeBoards, all monthSearch, always onThen they search

Why it still works

AM/FM radio reaches 87 percent of US adults every week, ahead of smartphone apps at 82 percent, per Katz Radio Group's read of Nielsen data for Q1 2026 (opens in a new tab). Out-of-home advertising, billboards, transit and the rest, brought in a record $9.46 billion in 2025, its 19th straight quarter of growth, per the OAAA (opens in a new tab).

Those numbers are not nostalgia. Texas commutes are long, the freeways are lined with boards, and local broadcast news still draws a crowd for weather and traffic. Traditional media is how a brand gets known by a whole market, fast.

What changed is everything around it. A billboard can point to a search ad. A radio flight can be read against branded searches. A broadcast schedule can be filled out with streaming in the ZIP codes it misses. That is the plan.

What we buy

Broadcast TV

Local stations for news, sports and big live events, still the fastest way to reach a whole market.

Radio

Drive time and the formats your customers actually listen to, plus streaming audio when it fits the plan.

Outdoor

Freeway bulletins, posters, digital boards that change by daypart, and transit.

Print and direct mail

Magazines, community papers and mail, for the audiences that still read them.

Production

Spots, scripts and artwork for every format, made by the same team that plans the media.

How it fits

Broadcast and radio make the name known. Outdoor repeats it. Search and streaming catch the people who respond. We plan the flight dates together, so the search budget is ready when radio runs and the streaming buy fills the ZIP codes the broadcast schedule misses.

It also keeps everyone honest. When traditional media sits in the same report as the digital buy, you can see what each flight did to calls, searches and site visits, instead of taking the station's word for it.

  • How much does billboard advertising cost?

It depends on the board, the location and the length of the flight. Freeway bulletins cost far more than posters on surface streets, and digital boards share their face with other advertisers. We price boards against traffic and the audience you need, not the rate card.

  • How much does radio advertising cost?

Radio is sold per spot, and the price depends on the station's audience, the daypart and the market. Drive time costs the most. The rate card is a starting point. Most of the value in a radio buy is in the negotiation and the schedule.

  • How much does TV advertising cost?

Local broadcast spots are priced by program and audience. A spot in local news costs a fraction of a spot in a major live event. For smaller budgets, streaming TV can deliver TV-quality reach by ZIP code for less.

  • Is radio advertising still effective?

Yes, for reach and frequency at a low cost. Radio still reaches 87 percent of US adults weekly, per Katz Radio Group and Nielsen (opens in a new tab). It works best with a simple message repeated often, and with search ready for the people who respond.

  • Do you produce the commercials and the artwork?

Yes. We write and produce TV and radio spots and design outdoor and print, so the creative is built for the media plan instead of resized after.

Tell us the market and the goal. We will build a traditional schedule that works with the digital side of the plan.
