A summer camp with more than 100 activities needs a website that can keep up. WWC designed and developed the digital home of Camp War Eagle, the sports, adventure, and recreation summer camp for boys and girls ages 6 to 17 from Benton, Washington, Carroll, and Madison counties in Northwest Arkansas. From an Overnight Camp on more than 600 wooded acres along the shores of Beaver Lake to Day Camps at multiple locations across the region, Camp War Eagle exists so children can have the time of their lives and gain a greater appreciation for God, themselves, and others. WWC built the site on WordPress, implemented BigCommerce to power the online camp store, and developed an immersive interactive map that lets families explore the property before arrival, a web design project that guides parents from first look to registered camper.

The best marketing for a summer camp is the camp itself. Since 2006, Camp War Eagle has given kids from Benton, Washington, Carroll, and Madison counties a place on Beaver Lake with more than 100 activities and a mission that reaches beyond any one of them. The challenge was distance. Most families choose a camp from a couch, not a canoe, and the website is where that decision happens. Camp War Eagle asked WWC to design and develop a site that captures the energy of camp, makes registration and online purchasing simple, and helps new families across Northwest Arkansas find it in the first place.

WWC designed and developed a new Camp War Eagle website that puts the experience of camp front and center. The centerpiece is an immersive interactive map that turns more than 600 wooded acres on Beaver Lake into something a parent can navigate from home, long before drop-off. WordPress and Elementor keep the site easy for camp staff to update between seasons, BigCommerce powers camp store merchandise sales, and HubSpot connects family inquiries to the camp's communications. Search engine optimization rounds out the build, helping families across Northwest Arkansas find the camp the moment they start looking.

The new site changed how families engage with Camp War Eagle online. Traffic increased after launch, and visitors stayed longer, with session length and time on page both climbing as parents explored the property, the activities, and the mission behind them. The site remains the camp's digital home today, with WWC continuing to maintain it season after season. More importantly, it gives every family in Northwest Arkansas a way to experience camp before their kids ever arrive at Beaver Lake.
