MS 150

National MS Society

Few fundraising events move at the scale of the Texas MS 150. The largest of some 100 Bike MS rides in the United States, the 2-day event draws roughly 13,000 cyclists and 3,500 volunteers to the road between Houston and a finish at Texas A&M University, every mile in service of a world free of multiple sclerosis. Behind the ride stands the National MS Society, the nonprofit that funds MS research and supports people living with the disease across the country. WWC, a Houston marketing and technology agency, created a series of print advertisements for the National MS Society's MS 150, supporting one of its hometown's signature nonprofit events. For an organization that turns riders into fundraisers, strong creative is not decoration. It is how a movement recruits.

A ride this size never stops recruiting. The MS 150 fills its start line one commitment at a time, roughly 13,000 cyclists who agree to train, fundraise, and spend 2 days on the road between Houston and Texas A&M University. For the National MS Society, the nonprofit behind the event, creative has one job, moving people from admiration to registration. The Society turned to WWC for a series of print advertisements that could carry the spirit of the ride and make a demanding 2-day commitment feel like an invitation.

WWC created a series of print advertisements for the MS 150, built to give the ride a presence as memorable as the event itself. Print demands discipline, one image, one message, no second chances, and the series used that constraint to its advantage, distilling the ride's mix of endurance and purpose into pages readers would remember. Each ad worked as a standalone piece while holding to a consistent campaign voice, so the MS 150 arrived in print the way it arrives on the road, unmistakable and moving in one direction.
