Traction Rec Website Integration

Traction Rec is the member and program management platform built natively on Salesforce for community centres, JCCs and YMCAs, running membership, program registration, camp and childcare on one record. WWC has built a complete Traction Rec integration, so a public website reads live from that record rather than from a copy of it. Members register, book and manage a household without ever leaving the brand they came for, and the site never advertises a class that filled this morning.

What WWC delivers

  1. Real time sync, whatever the site is built on

    Programs, sessions, capacity and pricing read live from Traction Rec. We have built this against WordPress and against headless Next.js, and the pattern holds for other platforms too, because the integration lives at the API rather than inside a plugin. A seat taken in Traction Rec is a seat gone on the website, not a seat gone after the next overnight sync.

  2. Built for JCCs and YMCAs specifically

    A community centre is not one organisation with one audience. It is a fitness centre, an aquatics programme, a preschool, a gallery and a summer camp sharing a building and a membership record. We have built for exactly that shape, including the Evelyn Rubenstein JCC of Houston, where roughly a million dollars of summer camp registration moved online and 95 percent of it processed on registration day.

  3. Custom Member Portal UI in Salesforce Builder

    Not every screen belongs on the marketing site. We build custom UI for the Member Portal from Salesforce Builder templates, so the authenticated experience, household management, registration history and balances look like the organisation rather than like Salesforce, while the system of record stays exactly where the staff already work.

  4. Events and ticketing platforms

    Traction Rec handles membership and programs. Ticketed events often live somewhere else, and PatronPay is a common one. We integrate the two so a member buying a ticket is recognised as a member, pricing follows entitlement, and the finance side reconciles against one record rather than two exports.

  5. Giving and fundraising through Classy

    Membership and donation are different motions and usually different systems. We have customised and integrated Classy for Living Water International, and the same approach connects a giving platform to the member record so a donor who is also a member is one person in your data, not two.

  6. Salesforce certified, in house

    The Salesforce side is handled by a certified developer on staff rather than subcontracted, so the integration is built against the platform properly instead of bolted onto it.

Common questions

Does this work with WordPress, or only with a custom build?

Both. We have integrated Traction Rec with WordPress sites and with headless Next.js builds. The connection is made at the API, so the front end is a choice rather than a constraint.

How real time is real time?

Availability, pricing and session data are read live rather than copied on a schedule. The failure this prevents is the expensive one: a page advertising a camp week that sold out an hour ago.

Can members stay on our site instead of being sent to a portal?

Yes, and that is usually the whole point. Sending somebody from your brand to a vendor URL in the middle of registering is a seam they have to decide to cross, and it is where most abandonment happens.

We sell tickets through PatronPay. Can that connect?

Yes. We integrate ticketing platforms alongside Traction Rec so membership entitlement drives ticket pricing and the two reconcile against one record.

What about donations?

We have done Classy customisation and integration work, so giving campaigns can sit alongside the member record rather than in a silo. A donor who is also a member should be one person in your data.

Do we have to replace Traction Rec or Salesforce?

No. Both stay exactly as they are. The work is on the experience side, connecting the public and authenticated experience to the platform already running the organisation.

Yes. A complete Traction Rec integration, not a proof of concept and not a link to a hosted portal.
