Butler's Courtyard — mobile site

A wedding begins long before the ceremony, usually on a screen. WWC designed the website for Butler's Courtyard, an award-winning wedding and reception venue in historic downtown League City, Texas. Family-owned and hosting weddings for more than 20 years, the venue spans an entire city block of grounds and gathering spaces, anchored by a picturesque 1909 brick building whose historic charm and hints of industrial chic set the stage for one-of-a-kind events for up to 200 guests. That atmosphere sells itself in person. Online, it has to survive the translation. WWC brought user experience and web design together on WordPress to carry the venue's character to desktop and mobile, giving engaged couples a clear path from first look to first visit. For a venue built on first impressions, the website now makes one too.

Couples now choose a wedding venue online before they ever step inside one. Butler's Courtyard already had the hard part, an award-winning reputation, decades of family-owned hospitality, and a 1909 building that wins couples over the moment they arrive. That kind of atmosphere does not transfer to the web on its own. Butler's Courtyard asked WWC to design a website that would do the venue justice, presenting its historic building and grounds with clarity and warmth, and making it simple for couples to picture their day and take the next step.

WWC designed the Butler's Courtyard website from a blank page, pairing user experience strategy with web design on WordPress. Every decision served a single goal, letting the venue itself do the convincing. The design gives the historic building and its grounds the visual room to make the same impression on screen that they make in person, whether couples are browsing on a desktop or planning from a phone. The site also carries the planning forward, with the Butler's Wedding Dashboard giving couples a dedicated tool for organizing their day. Beneath it all, WordPress keeps the site easy for the venue's team to maintain, so offerings and event details stay current without a developer in the loop.

The website was the foundation, and the follow-through made it findable. After WWC corrected the venue's Google Business Profile, optimized the site for search, and ran a sustained backlink program, Butler's Courtyard saw a 50% increase in traffic and watched its domain authority climb from under 10 to 29. More importantly, the venue that wins couples over in person now gets found by them first, which is where every booking begins.
