Live music happens everywhere, every night. Finding it is the hard part. Trubadors, a music discovery startup, set out to put every show near a listener, from top concerts to intimate live performances playing today, in one place. WWC handled user experience design and mobile app development for the entertainment platform, building Trubadors in Flutter on a MongoDB backend so a single codebase could scale across platforms and a fast-changing calendar of live events stayed current. The app connected to a listener's existing music library to surface local favorites, up-and-comers, and genre-specific cover bands similar to the music they already played, and it brought live streaming concerts to fans who would rather stay home. Launched on the App Store, Trubadors was well received, turning any night, anywhere, into a chance to hear live music.

Live music has a discovery problem. Ticketing platforms surface the big tours while local favorites, up-and-comers, and genre-specific cover bands play rooms fans never hear about. The opportunity was one app that finds every performance playing today near a listener and matches it to the music they already love. The startup behind Trubadors came to WWC to design and build that app end to end, pairing location-based concert discovery with personalization drawn from each user's own music library, and extending the experience to live streaming concerts so the show still reaches fans who stay home.

WWC designed the user experience and developed Trubadors as a cross-platform mobile app built in Flutter, so a single codebase delivered the same fast experience on every phone. A MongoDB backend organized a constantly shifting inventory of shows, keeping each day's listings accurate whether a user was searching a new city or their own neighborhood. The experience centered on immediacy. A listener opened the app and saw what was playing nearby that day, from top concerts to intimate live performances. Connecting a music library let Trubadors surface local favorites, up-and-comers, and cover bands that sounded like what was already on rotation. Live streaming brought performances to listeners who never left the couch.

Trubadors made it to market, launching on the App Store where it was well received and held steady usage for years after release. For a music discovery startup, that is the outcome that matters, a product designed, built, and genuinely used by the fans it was made for. The Flutter and MongoDB foundation kept the experience fast and the nightly listings current throughout its run. More importantly, it gave local live music what it had always lacked, an audience that knew where to find it.
