"The Natural Choice" Television
Endurance is a hard sell in 30 seconds. For the Southwest Brick Council, a regional industry group affiliated with the Brick Industry Association that promotes brick construction, WWC created The Natural Choice, a series of 5 :30 television spots showcasing the durability and low maintenance of brick homes. The work is television advertising at its most disciplined. Each spot lands a single idea, that a brick home endures with little upkeep, then lets repetition across the series do the rest. Airing on broadcast, cable, and streaming across the Southwest, from Dallas-Fort Worth, Austin, and San Antonio to New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Louisiana, the campaign reframes brick from a construction detail into the natural choice for a home that lasts. It gives a material older than advertising itself a clear, modern consumer argument.
WWC developed The Natural Choice, a series of 5 :30 television spots that turn brick's practical strengths into a consumer message. Rather than cataloging specifications, each spot concentrates on the qualities that matter at the moment of a home purchase, durability and low maintenance, so the argument lands quickly and holds up on repeat viewing. The spots ran on broadcast, cable, and streaming across Southwest markets including Dallas-Fort Worth, Austin, San Antonio, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Louisiana, giving the council a campaign platform rather than a single ad, one central promise extending across the series while the message stays constant. Brick is the natural choice for a home that lasts.
The campaign moved product and perception. Brick sales increased during the run, and pre and post campaign surveys measured a lift in consumer awareness, evidence that a simple promise repeated well can change how a market thinks about a material. The Natural Choice extended a long relationship between WWC and the brick industry, one that also spans the Brick Industry Association and the Heartland Brick Council and has earned awards along the way. More importantly, the campaign gave brick a voice, turning the industry's oldest advantage into a modern reason to buy.
